Girl Scout troops are welcome to join us for a fun-filled journey through Amazement Square. We offer both a Brownie and Junior program that will include hands-on activities, museum exploration, and exciting projects that will guide the girls in completing an entire journey in one day.

Brownies can complete their It’s Your Planet-Love It! Journey by earning all four of the WOW! Wonders of Water awards through participation in various water-related activities that will teach about water pollution, the James River, the water cycle, and how to become eco-friendly citizens.

Juniors can complete their It’s Your World-Change It! Journey by earning all three of the Agent of Change awards. The girls will take a look at themselves and women of the past to discover the difference one person can make. The girls will also go through various activities to demonstrate how they can make a change in the world by working together, including working as a team to build the Habitat House in Amazement Square.

Registration is $35 per Girl Scout and includes all materials, awards, and  a snack. Our journey will take almost 4 hours to complete, and we require a minimum of 10 participants.  As an added bonus, any family members wishing to stay and explore the museum on their own can do so for $6.00 per person for the entire day. Pre-registration is required.
