Spring Internship Positions 2011 |

Position: Special Events & Marketing Intern
Ideal candidate will be creative, energetic, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in a team-oriented setting. Candidate must have strong interest in learning about the management and execution of special events and be able to represent Amazement Square in a professional manner. Some evening and weekend hours will be required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Help execute marketing plans for events
- Assist with facilitation of various special events
- Prepare mailings for events
- Participate in general public relations efforts of the museum

Position: Education Intern
Ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the desire to learn more about Amazement Square’s hands-on, multi-disciplinary programs. Candidate must be able to work well with people of all ages and represent Amazement Square in a professional manner.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the development and implementation of museum programs
- Facilitate scheduled programming (may include evenings and weekends)
- Prepare materials for programs, school tours, and outreach activities
