It’s time to take slumber parties to the next level! Enjoy private access to the entire museum from 7:00 pm to 8:00 am for your whole party. Rock out in a band OnStage, paint on the walls in the Paintbox, captain a boat down the James River, and climb, slide and zip your way through our four story tower during the most unforgettable slumber party ever!

So grab your friends and give us a call to schedule your next Amazing Slumber Party!

• Your group will arrive at 7pm with sleeping bags and pillows and any food you want to enjoy.
• A facilitator will we be on hand to greet you and get you started on your program for the evening.
• Your group will have free reign of the building. All exhibits will be open for your use.
• Your group will sleep in the Community Room, where you’ll have access to our flat screen TV and DVD player.
• Lights out at 11:30 (but movies can go on!).
• Rise and shine at 7:00am to pack up your belongings before exiting the building by 8:00am.

$5 per participant per program plus sleepover fee.

AIR & SPACE
Build your own unique space craft, then see what happens when the lights go out at the paint box!

THE WIZARD TOURNAMENT
You and your teammates will wind, crawl, and scamper your way through the museum as you search for the coveted Scorpy Stone.

STICKS AND BRICKS
Learn about Habitat for Humanity Lynchburg, build your own model house, and work together to transport a large shipment of bricks from one gallery to the next.

ART IN ACTION
Art comes alive as you explore different paint techniques, then unleash your inner Beethoven by writing your own songs!

ANIMAL SAFARI
Explore the dozens of animals living in Amazement Square and discuss what it means to be environmentally and animal friendly.

• The cost of hosting a sleepover is $30 per person with a minimum of 15 children.
• Two chaperones over the age of 18 are required to spend the night.
• All adults are admitted free of charge.
• Other details or additional costs may apply for large groups and will be discussed with the Sleepover Coordinator upon booking.
• Snacks provided for an additional fee.
