Amazement Square’s historic home and fun-for-all environment provide an exceptional atmosphere for any event, whether a business luncheon, an elegant evening reception, a sleepover, or even an outdoor movie!

Rent the entire museum or just a room! Stay for a few hours or all night! We can accommodate group functions of up to 400 guests and have friendly, professional staff to assist with all your needs. And don’t forget, your rental helps Amazement Square’s efforts to provide children and families with the best hands-on, educational programs and exhibits. Business professionals will now have the opportunity to explore Amazement Square on a whole new level by participating in teambuilding workshops! These workshops are specifically designed to integrate the museum’s interactive exhibits into a meaningful and fun teambuilding experience. Choose from three different options that allow you to explore the museum while enhancing your team’s communication skills.

Workshops last for two hours and are held after operating hours. The cost is $25 per person, with a minimum of 10 attendees, and includes refreshments at the conclusion of your workshop. read more...

 

Rent the Museum
Enjoy a unique and playful setting for your next event! Rent the museum to enjoy private access to the fun, interactive exhibits while hosting a one-of-a-kind wedding reception, reunion, retreat, or party. The four floors of the museum can accommodate up to 400 people as well as any caterer, band or DJ.

*Museum rentals are available after operating hours.

Pricing:
$500 for the first two hours
$200 for each additional hour

Imagination Studio: 440 sq ft

Accommodates up to 30-50 guests per room
Take your next luncheon, meeting or seminar out of the office! Rent either the Community Room or the Imagination Studio in Amazement Square to host your next event. Whether it is a presentation, workshop, retreat or meeting, the museum offers a great space with amenities to fit your needs.

The Imagination Studio offers seating and tables for 25 people, while the Community Room accommodates 40 people. Each room offers its own amenities, including sinks, a refrigerator, a freezer, and a television.

Accommodates up to 450 guests

Looking for a large venue that allows you to create a one-of-a-kind event? Rent Amazement Square’s 14,000 square foot facility that can accommodate up to 450 people. This venue is ideal for groups wishing to host a wedding reception, reunion, retreat, concert, or party. Comfortably hold a formal, sit-down dinner with a stage, dance area and bar, or utilize the great open space for a concert or dance.

The Amazement Square warehouse is extremely flexible to fit the needs of your event. Design your layout, be creative with decorations, and hire the caterer, band, or DJ of your choice.

Pricing: $180 per hour

   

Slumber Parties! (click here for more info)
Minimum of 15 guests required

Slumber Parties are a perfect fit for birthdays, sports groups, Girl Scout Troops or Boy Scout Packs and are available beginning at 7:00pm in the evening through 8:00am the following morning. A minimum of 15 guests are required and the night includes a scavenger hunt and exploration of all our museum has to offer! A deposit of $225.00 is required at the time of booking a sleepover and the balance is paid in full on the day of. Slumber Parties can also be combined with our Girl Scout try-it tours for a discounted rate. Ask about cupcakes and balloons for your birthday sleepover!

Outdoor Movie Theater: 7,000 sq ft                   
Accommodates up to 700 guests
Have a film screening party at this unique outdoor movie theater! This venue hosts up to 750 guests and is equipped with a movie projector, sound system and large movie screen. Pick your favorite movie, invite your guests, and enjoy an outdoor movie experience like none other. Movie concessions are available, including fresh popped popcorn, drinks, and candy, to add-on to this package.

Pricing: $1,250 per film screening.

   
Outdoor Skatepark: 14,000 sq ft           
Accommodates up to 100 skaters

Gather all the skaters you know to enjoy a private skate session at the Rotary Centennial Riverfront Skatepark. Equipped with 18 skate elements, including a 24’ x 24’ mini-ramp, lounge area and skate shop, invite up to 75 friends to enjoy private access to the skate park.

Pricing: $250.00 per hour after operating hours

  • Operating Hours
    After hours rentals may begin one hour after closing.
    Museum hours are:
    Tuesday- Saturday 10am-5pm
    Sunday 1-5pm
    (Mondays on major holidays from 1-5pm and Family Fun Nights which are held the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month from 5-8pm.)
  • Reservations and Billing Policy
    Facility rentals are first come, first served. We recommend you make your reservation at least 4 weeks in advance. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of reservation. All rentals require a signed Facility Rental Agreement. The remainder of the rental fee is due upon departure of the facility.
  • Alcohol
    Alcoholic beverages are permitted for an additional $50.00 fee. All beverages must be contained inside of the facility. Be sure to check out our bar options for the warehouse space!
  • Smoking
    Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside Amazement Square. There is a designated smoking area outside near the entrance to the museum.
  • Additional Rental Amenities
    We can rent everything from chairs and tables to a full light-up bar or a disco centerpiece! The quantity and type of these items change, so ask about the possibilities! (See our facility rental pricing sheet for options.)
  • Decorations/Cleaning
    In an effort to protect the integrity of our exhibits, Amazement Square must approve all decorations prior to event set-up. Open flames (except small votive candles), fog machines and pyrotechnics are not allowed inside the museum due to our alarm system. For Warehouse use, lighting systems and special decorations are allowed pending approval. The museum is responsible for clean-up of the facility, however any cleanup that is beyond normal wear and tear to the facility will be charged directly to the group renting. It is the responsibility of your group to make arrangements for delivery and pickup of any special decorations or props on the evening of the event.
  • Audio Visual
    The museum is equipped with a paging system. There are also additional rental options of a portable PA system, projector with screen, or a plasma screen/DVD player combo.
  • Programming
    As an educational institution, Amazement Square can compliment any event with craft activities or educational programs! Contact our education department for more details.
  • Catering
    A list of caterers can be provided upon request. Rental of linens, plates, glasses or silverware can be provided for an additional fee.
  • Marketing for your event
    All written or printed communication that includes Amazement Square in text or graphic format must be approved by the museum’s PR/Marketing department prior to publication or distribution. Any requests for museum brochures or fliers can be made available pending availability.
