Other Information
Stroller use: For safety concerns, the use of strollers is not allowed in the museum.
Parking: There is parking in front of and below the museum's main entrance, street parking along Jefferson Street, a parking area across the street from the museum, and space behind the museum. Please note the train still operates on the tracks below the museum. We ask that you notice the handicap parking area in front of the museum.
Sponsored Admission Program: Because not every family is able to take advantage of the museum's in-house
activities, Amazement Square has made reaching these families one of its
top priorities. With the museum's Sponsored Admission Program,
inner city and underserved communities that might not otherwise have the
ability to come to the museum are able to enjoy the programs and activities
free of charge. Since opening in 2001, more than 43,000 individuals have
benefited from this program. The Sponsored Admission Program is made possible through the generosity of Ms. Mary Lenker, Yuille Holt, Jr. Family, and Lea and Andy Larsen Endowment Funds. |
